Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the horror or martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies with a morbid fascination. Her first review was at the end of 2009 when she became famous in their forum. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of the Channel Awesome team. The website was her home until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts: one covering the Charmed franchise and the other hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. It also occasionally features adult humor. After reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity on Channel Awesome's forums. After becoming part of the official group of Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
