Richard B. Cheney an eminent public servant and entrepreneur is vice-president of the United States. Cheney is well-known within Washington's political world. George W. Bush who is set to become the next president of the U.S. will be Cheney's fourth. Bush picked Cheney during the summer of 2000 as his vice-presidential running mate commenting on Cheney's wisdom and judgment. Dick Cheney, who served as the United States as Secretary and Chief of Staff in the administration of a president, and also within Congress is a tremendous service to the nation. Both Republicans and Democrats admire him for his honesty and integrity. Cheney said that his job in the Bush administration is to be an honest but quiet adviser. Cheney expressed his excitement at taking the Republican vice-presidential nomination. He stated that he is looking forward working with a leader who can be a team player with individuals of differing political opinions and who share the same objectives. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th, 1941) was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been engaged to Richard Herbert Cheney for over thirty years. Cheney was moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family at the age of 13. The father of his was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture was the director of the conservation district in Casper.
