Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill, and she was able to end her in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the 2nd. She remained dominant as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges between the two fighters was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She lost by unanimous decision.
