Gerina-Piller
Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). She is of Mexican-American heritage as well as an American by citizenship. She has always been a fan of sports. Gerina played golf for the first time at the age of fifteen. Gerina graduated from Goddard High School. At the age of 16, she was a winner in New Mexico's state golf championship. Along with volleyball, she competed on a state-level. The year 2003 was the time she enrolled at the University of Texas. In the final seasons of her professional career, she won each tournament in which she competed. During her undergraduate career she was named Conference USA individual champion player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
